This is the internet's equivalent of a brag wall, which really doesn't sit well with me, but I do understand the need. Entries are ordered from newest to oldest. Click on the images for larger views or to start the QuickTimes. Thank you for taking a look!
It's always incredibly flattering to find out that a young person likes my work. But when the young person is as talented as Erik Bernskiold, it's a true honor!! When Erik emailed to say that he wanted to interview me, I was speechless (yes, me!). I know, I know I can talk for hours but that's not the same as answering questions about myself!!!
There are some people who are born with a flare for the dramatic, James Cole is one of them!! Thankfully so far all of the news has been great . . . but you never know!!! Yesterday's email said only, "LOOK!!" . . .
Go figure!!! My own listing on the Internet Movie Database!!! Whoa Hoooo!!
One of my favorite portraits was on display in the MPIX booth during Photoshop World in Orlando, Florida. It was great fun meeting John and the MPIX crew! They are all incredibly nice and have a great sense of humor! I was hugely flattered that they contacted me!!

Printed on 30" x 20" canvas, with a gallery wrap, Mainly Kidz made quite an impression. I was stunned to see such dead-on, perfect color!! I thought for sure some of the highlights would be out of gamut but the deadline was wicked-tight and MPIX handled it beautifully!! That's Scott Kelby's print right next to mine!
Featured in the March issue of Photoshop User Magazine. This is the second time my work has appeared in the Design Showcase, but this time it was by request!!!
Yes, every victory, no matter how small, counts :-)
NAPP Member News article, March issue of Photoshop User Magazine. I was flabbergast to hear Larry' Becker's voice on my answering machine explaining that he would like to use my experience to exemplify the importance of a NAPP membership and the wonders of our fantastic forums!!! I still have the message on my machine. I listen to it every time I feel like giving up. For those of you that haven't met him, Larry Becker is one of the world's truly nice guys.
Scenic View, featured in NAPP News with Larry the week of January 1, 2008.
Note: this will take some time to load.
This was such a huge surprise for me!! I had no idea it was coming. I honestly sat with my mouth wide open in shock for the entire news reel!! My sons only wish they had the video camera ready!!
Mainly Kidz and Baby Nick, published in March, 2007, issue of Photoshop User Magazine's Design Showcase.
NAPP encourages members to submit their work to Photoshop User magazine but it was still a thrill to hear back from Felix Nelson!! In the email he wrote, "These are wonderful!" and I was on cloud #9 for the rest of the month!!
